Description
Plastic recycle resin is a material created from recycled plastic waste that is processed into pellets, which can then be used to manufacture new products. This process, often called post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin, reduces plastic pollution and saves energy compared to making plastic from virgin materials. The quality and recyclability of plastics are identified using the Resin Identification Code (RIC) system, a numerical system that helps sort different types of plastic for effective recycling.
