Polyamide

The GPPC GRAMiDR Polyamide 6,6, generally known as Nylon 6,6, is a kind of highly-crystalline straight-chain polycondensation polymer, where the repeating units are held together by amide group (-CONH-). Its features include high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and unaffected by oils, solvents and chemicals, as well as low coefficient of friction and self-lubricating properties.

Nylon 6.6 can be produced to products via direct injection. In addition, its mechanical properties can be improved by compounding with other materials. Therefore, the dimensional stability, impact, flame retardant, low temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, etc. could be advanced to adapt to the requirements from industries like electronics, electrical, communications, and others, so as to expand its field of application.
