Description
PS, polymerized by SM, is one of the commonly used commodity plastics. According to its compositions, PS can be grouped into General Purpose Polystyrene (GPPS), which is polymerized by 100% SM, and High-Impact Polystyrene(HIPS), which is a SM and rubber copolymer. PS has characteristics in excellent electrical-insulation, low water take-up and high-flow properties. It is widely used for the manufacturing of food containers, toys, plastic cards materials( IC cards), and 3C products.
