Underwater pelletizers are specialized equipment used for the granulation of polymers and thermoplastics, capable of producing uniformly shaped, high-quality pellets.
These underwater pelletizers utilize a unique underwater environment to cut molten plastic into pellets of the desired size through high-speed rotating blades. This process is completed in water, effectively preventing oxidation or rapid cooling of the molten plastic when it comes into contact with air, ensuring the quality of the final product.
The machine consists of major components such as a melt pump, filter, startup valve, die head, main body of the pelletizer, water circulation system, and dehydration system, enabling highly automated, efficient continuous production.
