On October 19th, as the golden autumn brought cool breezes and osmanthus fragrance filled the air, we gathered at FCS Group’s new Qianwan plant to witness the successful hosting of the "FCS Group 50th Anniversary Celebration and Qianwan New Plant Opening Ceremony." This event brought together numerous guests, including representatives from government departments, associations, global partners, and suppliers, all gathered in Hangzhou Bay.

Fifty years represent a long journey and an epic story of struggle. Since its founding in 1974, FCS Group has adhered to the management philosophy of “creating efficient products, ensuring customer satisfaction, promoting a humanistic culture, caring for social welfare, creating a green environment, and protecting Earth’s resources,” constantly advancing and forging ahead. Starting as a small business on Fuqiang Road in Taiwan, it has grown into a renowned enterprise with significant global influence, boasting around 8,200 clients worldwide, 44 direct branches, 40 agents, and marketing operations in more than 70 countries. This achievement embodies fifty years of hard work and the wisdom of every FCS team member.

The new plant spans 100 ares, with a total construction area of 97,800 square meters. It is designed as a professional production base for 2,000 specialized injection molding machines per year. This marks an important milestone in the development of FCS Group and a new starting point on our journey. The completion of the new plant will further enhance FCS Group’s production capacity and core competitiveness, providing customers with even higher-quality products and services.

First, I warmly welcome the government leaders, association leaders, global partners, suppliers, and all the guests present here today.

Next, I want to thank all of Ningbo FCS’s partners. You deserve a big round of applause for your continued efforts, making the rapid completion and launch of the Qianwan new plant possible.

FCS has grown from a humble start 50 years ago, from four employees in a 50-square-meter workshop primarily engaged in lathe work, to five factories worldwide, covering nearly 300,000 square meters, and employing nearly 1,000 people. Our journey in Ningbo has spanned 23 years, filled with challenges, hardships, and triumphs. We have grown thanks to the care and support of government leaders, industry pioneers, and especially our long-time partner Zhongce and Mr. Wu, whose unwavering support has helped us thrive. I offer my deepest gratitude with a bow to express my thanks to everyone.

Many people often ask me, "Is it good to invest in mainland China? Can you bring the profits back? Why keep investing?" I always tell them that we have developed well without any issues. Mainland China offers a vast market, diligent employees, comprehensive planning, and a robust supply chain system. As long as we adhere to legal operations, pay taxes honestly, treat employees well, and give back to society, I believe we will be welcomed and succeed wherever we invest. We also believe that talent is key to business operations, which is why we aim to cultivate a corporate culture of integrity, harmony, innovation, agility, implementation, and efficiency. Corporate culture reflects a company’s quality; it’s not about slogans but about investing in training and leading by example. Only through continuous teaching and demonstration can it resonate with each employee, leading to outstanding behavior. We also hope our partners can find happiness beyond salaries by growing and learning.

From decades of experience, I’ve learned that the "vision and perspective of an operator determine the scale of a business," while their "character and temperament" influence the lifespan of the business. Therefore, we always remain vigilant, with forward-thinking perspectives, collaborating with industry peers to achieve mutual success. We must also nurture inner qualities, harbor goodwill, and treat others with kindness to gain broad support and ensure sustainable operations.

The times are constantly changing. As the saying goes, "laws are established, but soldiers adapt." With shifting times and diverse circumstances, there’s no "guaranteed formula for success" in business operations. We must constantly monitor market information, innovate, and involve all employees in continuous improvements to meet market and customer demands, thus maintaining competitiveness and internationalization.

Finally, I hope my colleagues and partners will work together with the mission of "enriching our colleagues, strengthening our company, and prospering our nation." We also look forward to the strong support of all the distinguished guests here today to build a more prosperous and stronger "FCS."

"50 Years of Innovation," looking back on fifty years of development, FCS has continuously increased its investment in product and technology development, maintaining a competitive advantage in the multi-component injection molding machine segment. This fifty-year growth and progress would not have been possible without the care of all levels of government, the strong support of our customers and suppliers, and the continuous efforts of all employees. In 2024, Ningbo FCS’s new Qianwan plant is officially operational, with a total investment of 41 million USD, covering 100 acres. It is an important production base for large injection molding machines, with an expected revenue of 600-1,200 million RMB, combined with the Jiangbei plant’s total revenue target of 1,200-1,800 million RMB. The new Qianwan plant adopts modern, lean production methods, integrating automated storage systems, intelligent manufacturing systems, high-efficiency energy management systems, and photovoltaic power systems, to build an efficient, green, low-carbon, and sustainable modern factory. We hope more young people will be willing to join the modern, comfortable FCS factory and contribute to the country’s industrial development. In the future, we will actively respond to the government’s high-quality development strategy, continuously increasing product R&D investments to create a bigger platform for our employees.

In 2014, FCS’s Taiwan headquarters committed to the slogan of "Happy Enterprise," aiming to make all employees feel happy, and to bring anticipation to suppliers and customers, striving to become an internationally renowned brand. As fireworks burst and ribbons flew, the new Qianwan plant of FCS Group was officially opened.

The Launch of FCS’s Fifth Generation of Multi-Component Machines

This year marks the 40th anniversary of FCS’s core multi-component injection molding machines. To mark this occasion, FCS proudly launched its fifth generation of multi-component injection molding machines to the market.

Mr. Chen Xiao-Zhou, Technical Director of FCS Group China, gave a detailed introduction to the product’s features.

The fifth generation of multi-component product series ranges from 200 tons to 4,000 tons, consisting of toggle-type clamping structures and two-platen clamping structures. The two-platen multi-component injection molding machines have clamping forces ranging from 1,000 tons to 4,000 tons across 10 models, while the toggle-type multi-component injection molding machines are planned to range from 200 tons to 850 tons across 7 models.
