Dhaka, Bangladesh – IPF Bangladesh 2025, the 17th Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industry Fair, will be held from 12 to 15 February at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka. The event is organized by the Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd.
With the plastics industry in Bangladesh at a pivotal point, the fair offers a significant platform for industry stakeholders to explore opportunities arising from population growth, infrastructure development, and technological advancements. According to Shamim Ahmed, President of BPGMEA, competitive pricing of over 142 locally produced plastic products has spurred export growth. By embracing sustainability, the industry can further contribute to the nation’s economic development.
IPF Bangladesh 2025 will feature 390 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions across 18,000 square meters, presenting a comprehensive array of machinery, raw materials, auxiliaries, and quality detection equipment. Participating countries and regions include Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and Vietnam.
The event is officially supported by the Ministry of Commerce, the Plastic Products Business Promotion Council (PPBPC), and the Export Competitiveness for Jobs (EC4J) Project, reflecting the government’s commitment to advancing the plastics sector, focusing on sustainable waste management, and promoting plastic circularity.
